hundred years ago, on October 31, 1517, Martin Luther nailed a sheet of paper
with 95 theses on the University of Wittenberg's chapel door. The Ninety-Five theses were intended to be
discussion points on the new indulgences Pope Leo X announced to help build St.
Peter's Basilica. However, it led to a
schism in the Roman Catholic church and spawned the Lutheran denomination. Trinity Lutheran is celebrating this 500th
anniversary with special events listed in the flyer below.
** SCHEDULING CHANGE**
Please note that due to scheduling conflicts, the 500th Reformation Celebration Game Night and the VBS Reformation Walk have been combined and rescheduled for Saturday, August 26th at 5:00. We will still have a traditional potluck, an old-fashioned cake (or any dessert) walk, basket raffles, and a silent auction. Please mark your calendars and make plans to attend. It will be a fun night!
